35 Years Ago Today…
Star Wars (A New Hope) was released in theaters for the first time.
It went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time (up to that point). Adjusted for inflation, it comes in at number 3 in the list of highest-grossing films ever made right behind Avatar (2009) and Gone With The Wind (1939). If you were to include toy/merchandise sales into the mix, it would take the top spot by a very wide margin. It isn’t all just about making money. It currently averages an 8.8/10 on IMDB which places it at #17 all time as voted by users.

The New Secret Catwoman ‘Dark Knight Rises’ Teaser Poster
After a week full of poster and banner reveals it’s a little confusing why Warner Bros. didn’t release this fantastic teaser poster earlier in the year. Lips and stiletto heels, you cant go wrong with that combination to tease Catwoman.

Three New Character Posters For ‘The Dark Knight Rises’
Quickly following the reveal of the so-so final poster for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ that looks rather uninspired and photoshopped, Warner Bros. has released a slew of new character posters for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. The new posters feature the film’s main three characters and have a much more engaging design than the final poster.
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ hits theaters on July 20th, this Summer.

Looks like the UK got a different set of new character posters for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. Warner Bros. released the new UK character posters on the facebook page for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.
Man the poster in other countries are always better than the US posters for movies!
